Ashby Peurorum, St Andrew

St Andrew’s is Grade II listed, built of local greenstone, tucked behind Church Farm and houses the oldest 3cwt tenor bell – circa 1150, believed to be the oldest in England.  Historic links to Lincoln Cathedral choir and Bishop Oliver Sutton (Bishop 1280–1299) give Ashby Peurorum its name.
